Rottingdean Fair

Updated: Aug 14

The Wasps attended Rottingdean fair on the 2nd of August 2025. After a very slow start, the people started coming into the St Margaret's Church yard. There was someone making balloon swords and animals for the kids and even a Punch and Judy stall but we were sandwiched next to live sheep, pigs and chickens so the kids and adults alike were brought in. There was a face painting and tombola stall opposite so we were kept pretty busy.

I thought being the opposite side of the road from the main fair was going to impact us badly but it didn't seem to make much difference, as we brought the people in. Shooting into our gazebo with rubber sucker arrows is great fun, enjoyed by children and adults alike.
